Maryland Acupuncturist - Lola Fox-Rabinovich, L.Ac., M.Ac.
Lola Fox-Rabinovich, L.Ac., M.Ac.
I'm a licensed acupuncturist, I have received my Master's in acupuncture from Tai Sophia Institute in Laurel, MD, the oldest and the first institution in the United States to offer a master's in acupuncture.
I received my B.S. in computer science from the University of Maryland in 1995. I have completed several at Clayton College of Natural Health on holistic nutrition. In 2003, my then 5 year old daughter Julia becameunexpectedly ill and diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. It was a cathartic event that propelled me to seek the best possible care for Julia. I had become very intrigued at the quick progress Julia made with acupuncture so I started learning as much as I could on my own and from Tuan Nguyen (Julia's acupuncturist). In August 2008 I became a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Maryland. Julia is a thriving 11 year old who loves reading, playing guitar and ice-skating. I love acupuncture and passionately engage with each patient. Currently I specialize in treating digestive disorders, fibromyalgia, chronic and acute pain, and facial rejuvenation.

What Is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a traditional ancient healing practice from China (over 3000 years). The acupuncture healing methods are now known and excepted in Western medical institutions across the world, recent survey conducted by Claire Cassidy, Ph.D., indicates that over two thirds of people who receive acupuncture see their physicians less frequently and use fewer medications.

Acupuncture has been clinically proven to treat many chronic and/or incurable modern diseases such as hemorrhoids, insomnia, depression, anxiety, constipation, common colds, sinus infections, allergies and many more. Most importantly it relieves stress and allows the body to heal itself. We also offer acupuncture facial rejuvenation treatments to lift facial sagging and reduce deep and fine wrinkles."

L.Y.: "I started going to Lola about two months ago mostly because of emotional issues I can shamelessly admit that I am "hooked" on acupuncture because of Lola. She does marvels for me. After each treatment I feel calm and completely relaxed. Furthermore I enjoy listening to her simple, but knowledgeable explanations of her treatments. I always feel very relaxed with Lola and have absolutely no problem sharing my feelings with her."

A.V.: "Lola's treatments helped me gain more energy and more positive mood. I felt results immediately following each treatment. My appetite improved and I was able to sleep better."

A.Z.: "I had reached a point in my life where I was physically, mentally, and spiritually broken. I got recommendations from my close friend to see Lola. Lola gave me hope that I won't live in pain for the rest of my life and there is still a chance to regain a strength to piece myself back together again. My recovery from a numerous problems is in progress. I like the environment, an attention, and sincere desire to help me. Lola studies a patient to identify the cause of the problem and treats me with care that I rarely get somewhere else."
